  2. Physical therapist with a job offer from a US employer

  4. U.S. companies to sponsor the Green Card application for foreign nationals on one of the shortage occupations designated by the Department of Labor on the Schedule A list.

 

What includes Schedule A?

Schedule A has been determined by the Director, United Stated Employment service that there are not sufficient US workers who are able, willing, qualified, and available for occupants listed on Schedule A which includes.

Group I – People employed as physical therapists and possess all the qualifications to take the physical therapist licensing exam in the state in which they propose to practice physical therapy.

Foreign people who are employed as professional nurses, who have passed CGFNS, or who hold an unrestricted license to practice professional nursing in the State of intended employment.

Group II- Foreign people who have been practicing the science and art during the year prior to the application who are exceptional in the same field and who intend to practice the same science or art in the US. The alien shall not have studied at a college or university in order to qualify for the Group II occupation. The term ‘Science and art’ is defined as any means of knowledge or skill with respect to which colleges and universities commonly offer special courses focusing on a degree in knowledge or skill.
